Job summary

Scientific Search in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior Scientist to lead analytical organic characterization. You will design and execute complex experiments, develop and validate methods, interpret challenging data, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.

Mentoring junior scientists and driving lab safety are integral to the role. PhD in Chemistry is preferred (BS/MS with equivalent experience considered).

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry preferred or BS/MS with equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical method development and validation capabilities.
• Expertise with GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS, LC/ELSD, LC/RI, LC/UV and GPC.
• Hands-on proficiency with extraction and desorption techniques.
• Creative problem-solving and advanced materials characterization expertise.
