Job summary

The Heritage Research Group within The Heritage Group seeks a Senior Scientist to lead analytical chemistry efforts on-site in Indianapolis, IN. You will design experiments using GC/GC/MS, GC/MS, LC/MS, and related techniques to solve high-impact problems and drive product and process development.

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry with 5–8 years of industrial lab experience.
Hands-on expertise with GC/GC/MS, LC/MS, LC/ELSD, LC/RI and LC/UV.
Experience in method development, validation, and transfer.
Knowledge of hazardous waste handling and safety practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Design and execute experiments using GC/GC/MS, GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS, LC/ELSD, LC/RI, LC/UV to interpret data and drive innovation.
Mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional collaborations across the organization.
Develop and validate analytical methods and ensure regulatory compliance and IP protection.
Promote safe lab practices and contribute to safety SOPs and protocols.
