Job summary

Qualifications
- Expert-level knowledge of spectroscopic theory, measurement techniques, and data interpretation.
- Proven experience in materials characterization and quality control applications.
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, R, or similar analytical software platforms.
- Experience with statistical analysis methods including regression analysis and error quantification.
Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain infrared and Raman spectroscopysystems (instruments/microscopes).
- Develop calibration protocols and QA procedures for spectroscopic measurements.
- Stay current with advances in spectroscopy and recommend upgrades or acquisitions.
- Perform infrared and Raman QC measurements to support customer requirements.
- Analyze spectral data to identify material properties and quality issues.
- Generate detailed QC reports with findings, interpretations and recommendations.
- Ensure timely delivery of QC results to meet deadlines.
