Job summary

ALS is seeking a Professional Scientist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on processing and analyzing samples with Agilent GC, GC-MS, and LC-MS, reviewing data for client release, and assisting with method development and instrument maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of lab experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with data collection, Excel, Word, and LIMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field.
• 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with instrumentation data collection and Excel/Word.
• Experience with LIMS or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples using GC, GC-MS, or LC-MS.
• Meet calibration and QA requirements.
• Document activities and report results clearly.
• Maintain instruments and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with analysts and technicians.
