Job summary

ALS is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory analyst to follow established methodologies, analyze samples, and report results accurately. You will interpret data, assist in solving analysis problems, and perform duties as assigned by leadership while maintaining thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates have an chemistry/biology background, basic Excel/Word skills, and the ability to travel to additional labs as needed. A collaborative, compliant, and safety-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree in Chemistry or Biology.
• 8 credit hours of college-level science courses or 1 year of lab experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work for 8 hours seated/standing.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word; strong record-keeping.
• Clear communication with staff, management and clients.
• Willingness to travel to additional labs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow approved methodologies and SOPs.
• Document activities and report results concisely and accurately.
• Analyze samples and interpret data.
• Solve analysis problems as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by group leader or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records and operate equipment safely.
