Job summary

CycloKinetics is seeking a Junior Analytical Chemist (L1) to join our R&D team in Salt Lake City. This role offers hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, MS, GPC/SEC, and spectroscopy and supports method development, QA, and data analysis in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, is detail-oriented, and eager to expand technical skills while collaborating with experienced scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with 0–5 years in analytical chemistry (R&D or QC).
• Master’s Degree in Chemistry with up to 3 years in analytical chemistry, R&D or QC.
• Broad knowledge of analytical chemistry theory, hardware, software, and method development.
• Experience with ISO, ASTM, EPA, ICH, USP, EP methods is a plus.
• Experience with regulated QA/QC environments (cGMP/cGLP) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support analytical testing, QA, method development, and lab research.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot GC, HPLC, MS, and spectroscopy equipment.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods and procedures.
• Collect and summarize data to support objectives and decisions.
• Calibrate instruments and assist with laboratory qualifications.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to solve analytical challenges.
