ALS is a global leader in scientific testing seeking a Professional Scientist to process and analyze samples with Agilent GC, GC-MS, and LC/MS instrumentation. The role requires maintaining QA standards, documenting results, and collaborating with a team of analysts to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

You will support instrument maintenance, develop methods, and contribute to safe working practices while upholding ALS core values of honesty, safety, curiosity, and care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills with instrument data collection and data reduction.
• Be proficient in or able to learn LIMS.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are strong.
• Must initiate corrective action and meet deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure with large sample volumes and short turn-around times.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze samples using Agilent GC and GC-MS or LC/MS.
• Meet calibration and QA requirements.
• Document activities and report results accurately.
• Work within quality control parameters and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with analysts and technicians.
• Identify and report quality problems to supervisor/QA.
• Assist with preparation of standards, reagents, and solutions.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow SOPs.
