ALS in Salt Lake City is seeking a Laboratory Technician to prepare industrial hygiene samples for trace metal analysis and other techniques. You will assist with equipment maintenance, follow SOPs, and ensure QA requirements are met throughout the workflow.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ years of lab experience or an associate’s degree, and strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Excel/Word and LIMS is preferred in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting.

Qualificações

• High School diploma required.
• 1+ years of laboratory experience and or an Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possess strong computer skills with knowledge in Excel, and Microsoft Word software packages.
• Be proficient in or able to learn the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Interpersonal and communications skills are strong.
• Must be able to initiate corrective action without prompting and assist co-workers to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to effectively perform duties under pressures arising from large sample volumes and short turn-around times.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adheres to safety policies and practices.

• Maintain safe working conditions and a clean area.
• Follow SOPs and methodologies without deviation.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
