Job summary

KPM Analytics is hiring an Application Specialist to operate analytical instruments in our Westborough lab and meet with customers across North America. You will run samples, generate clear reports, and demonstrate AMS, Chopin, and Unity lines to validate performance.

You’ll train customers and colleagues, transfer valid methods, and troubleshoot on-site or in the lab. Expect up to 50% travel and a pathway to grow with our lab-sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Food Science required; advanced degree a plus.
• Experience in applications support for scientific instrumentation or food industry.
• Hands-on lab equipment experience and data interpretation.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Strong organizational skills and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Run sample analyses in the lab and write clear reports.
• Demo instruments (AMS, Chopin, Unity Scientific lines) to customers.
• Help validate and transfer methods without headaches.
• Travel to customer sites for demos, training, and troubleshooting.
• Support sales with technical questions and competitive comparisons.
• Keep detailed notes in Salesforce.
• Share customer learnings with the product team.
• Help train new team members as the group grows.
