Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking an Associate Scientist, Analytics – Product Development for our pharmaceutical client in Corona, CA. You will support Product Development and R&D programs focused on generic drug development for U.S. and international markets.

You will perform routine analytical testing, assist with method development and validation, maintain records, operate HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and Karl Fischer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Entry level to two years of laboratory experience; pharmaceutical, academic, internship, or related analytical lab experience preferred.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer or similar.
• Exposure to analytical method development, validation, verification, or transfer is preferred but not required.
• GDP familiarity and good documentation practices are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing under supervision of senior personnel.
• Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Assist with analytical method development, validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer and other equipment.
• Document testing accurately per GDP and SOPs, and communicate results to team.
