Job summary

Forma, an Irvine, California-based CDMO, is seeking an Associate Scientist, Analytical Development, to perform analytical development activities supporting formulation development and drug product manufacturing. The Associate Scientist communicates with stakeholders, facilitates cGMP-compliant operations, and conducts experiments in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a BS in Chemistry or related field with 1+ years in analytical labs, experience with HPLC, KF, Dissolution, UV/Vis,

Qualifications

BS degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline with 1+ years of analytical lab experience.
Experience operating analytical instruments such as HPLC, KF, Dissolution Apparatus, UV/Vis.
Strong documentation, data interpretation, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

Performs analytical development activities to support formulation development and manufacturing.
Communicates with stakeholders and ensures cGMP compliance for operations.
Develops and validates analytical methods with guidance as needed.
Documents results using Empower, Excel, and related tools; writes SOPs when necessary.
Assists other scientists and maintains lab safety and cleanliness.
