Dispatch Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist/Scientist I, Cell Analytical Development in Philadelphia, PA. You will support development, qualification, technology transfer, and routine execution of analytical methods for viral vectors and CAR-T products.

The role emphasizes cellular and immunological techniques, with growth toward independent experimental design and data interpretation. You will contribute to method development, perform routine testing, and ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with relevant lab experience or Master’s degree in Biology/Immunology/Cell Biology/Biomedical Engineering.
Foundational knowledge of cell biology/immunology techniques and flow cytometry.
Working knowledge of viral vector biology and cell/gene therapy concepts.
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
Ability to execute standard experiments with established protocols.
Strong attention to detail and documentation of data.
Willingness to learn new techniques and collaborate with team.
Effective communication and teamwork within a lab.
Experience with data analysis software (GraphPad Prism/JMP).

Responsibilities

Contribute to development, optimization, and qualification of new analytical methods.
Build competency in experimental design and study design with increasing independence.
Perform routine sample testing and execute established analytical methods.
Provide analytical support to cross-functional collaborators including process and candidate development teams.
Characterize viral vectors and viral-based products.
Record data accurately in ELN and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Troubleshoot routine technical issues and support method transfer activities.
Communicate results through data summaries and team meetings.
Maintain lab equipment and comply with safety and quality requirements.
Participate in seminars, journal clubs, and ongoing scientific development.
