Job summary

Seawolf Therapeutics, Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Analytical Development to lead the analytical function for discovery through IND-enabling studies in a hands-on, on-site role in San Diego, CA.

You will own the analytical control strategy, guide method development, and direct a growing team while collaborating across programs and regulatory activities. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional support, and robust analytical solutions for a nanoparticulate delivery system

Qualifications

PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with 9+ years of industry experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in mass spectrometry for protein and lipid analysis, including high-resolution platforms (Q-TOF or Orbitrap).
Experience with nucleic acid-based therapeutics and nanoparticulate delivery systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight across analytical methodologies including CQAs and specifications.
Lead method development and troubleshoot analytical challenges to improve turnaround time.
Recruit, train, and lead a team of analytical scientists; manage cross-functional collaboration.
