Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced analytical development leader to guide drug substance and drug product processes through preclinical to commercial stages.

You will supervise laboratory teams, drive method development and transfer, ensure cGMP compliance, and contribute to regulatory documentation while partnering with cross-functional teams on development programs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related discipline with 12+ years in analytical/pharmaceutical development.
• Thorough understanding of analytical chemistry and process chemistry.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication abilities.
• Method transfer experience in Analytical Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages analytical development projects from preclinical through commercial.
• Represents Analytical Chemistry on cross-functional teams.
• Maintains accountability for analytical deliverables and progress on R&D and manufacturing plans.
• Independently designs and executes activities for one or more analytical chemistry projects.
• Supervises laboratory personnel and ensures safe practices.
