The Informatics Analyst is essential to the Office of Public Health Informatics (OPHI) and applies both technical informatics expertise and project management skills to assigned projects. Duties focus on working closely with cross-functional teams, other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors on informatics projects to improve state-level public health initiatives. This position will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects functioning as a technical and functional resource by overseeing the entire lifecycle of informatics-related projects, assisting with testing and validation, analyzing public health data, and supporting the development and implementation of new or enhanced systems, interfaces and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience managing or coordinating projects and the ability to bridge the gap between public health practice and technical implementation.

Associate degree and three (3) years of related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level IT Enterprise Busi Analyst 2 (ITP181) or position equivalent.
