Position Overview
Responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of end-to-end Account Establishment & Maintenance (AE&M) for an improved customer experience. Identify root cause issues, develop solutions in support of Operations, Sales and customers. Support growth and retention of profitable LTL business. Problems faced are typically not complex.
- Conduct analysis of customer data to solve business problems and deliver operational and customer benefits.
- Follow the standard operating procedures and processes to ensure audit and governance compliance
- Conduct research to identify and correct root cause opportunities related to customer pricing not being applied on shipments, customer hierarchy updates, rating, billing and shipping process errors.
- Provide pricing agreement interpretation based on the customer’s pricing agreement language.
- Liaison with other functions to resolve pricing and customer hierarchy’s issues, Account Set Up and Pricing agreement discrepancies among other things.
- Research and determine the need for new account creation or account cleanup/ maintenance
- Participate in projects / processes, working independently with general supervision.
- Provide education for the Vendor team as needed and answer questions to clarify the No Discount process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Info Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
- Plus two (2) years’ experience in transportation, distribution, fulfillment or supply chain management including both process and technology components and experience in the LTL industry required
- Knowledge in account establishment & maintenance, sales, invoicing, pricing, operational processes or other functional areas
- Proficient in use of SQL language tools
- Must possess analytical skills, be able to perform risk-analysis, with the ability to resolved issues
- Solutions-oriented with project management skills including understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into quality solutions or alternatives
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various levels of internal and external customers
- Self-motivated, assertive and persistent, with the ability to complete projects and assignments on time
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to various levels of internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate in a highly-flexible work environment
