Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end Account Establishment & Maintenance (AE&M) to enhance customer experience. Identify root causes, develop solutions supporting Operations, Sales, and customers. Support growth and retention of profitable LTL business. Typically, faced with straightforward problems.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Analyze customer data to resolve business issues and improve operational and customer outcomes.
  2. Participate in initiatives to develop and maintain internal processes, ensuring audits, governance, and controls are in place.
  3. Research to identify and correct root causes related to customer pricing, hierarchy updates, rating, billing, and shipping errors.
  4. Interpret pricing agreements based on customer contracts.
  5. Coordinate with other functions to resolve issues related to pricing, customer hierarchy, account setup, and agreement discrepancies.
  6. Research and determine the need for new account creation or account cleanup/maintenance.
  7. Engage in projects and processes, working independently under general supervision.
  8. Participate in strategic initiatives involving other teams and customers, ensuring deadlines are met.
  9. Educate Vendor teams on the No Discount process and clarify related questions.
  10. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in transportation, distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain management, including process and technology, with LTL industry knowledge.
  • Knowledge of account establishment & maintenance, sales, invoicing, pricing, and operational processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, risk analysis, and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Solution-oriented with project management skills, able to interpret customer needs into solutions.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting at various levels.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, persistent, and able to complete projects on time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate in a flexible work environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Willingness to travel.
  • Customer interaction including face-to-face meetings.
