Job description

Do you remember seeing trailers for The Devil Wears Prada 2 earlier this summer? What about digital spots for a cruise on the Disney Wish? Or the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival? If you did, it was likely because of the detailed planning and execution of The Walt Disney Company's Enterprise Media and Marketing team and if you didn't - it's probably because our targeting is that good.

We are looking for an Analyst, Marketing Data Product to join the Performance Marketing arm of this media team. We are an integrated, cross-functional team of marketers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts who help the Media team execute highly data-driven marketing campaigns and tactics.

As an Analyst, you will facilitate the delivery of our product roadmap, focusing on our suite of tools that handle campaign optimization and operations.

This role is unique – our team is embedded directly within the Disney media team. We're aligned, mission-driven, and free to move fast and innovate towards our goals. You'll tackle the challenges of executing and optimizing precise paid media strategies, using the latest technologies and tools.

You Will / Responsibilities:
  • Maintain product roadmaps for a small suite of Performance Marketing tools focusing on paid media operations and optimization
  • Communicate and coordinate product releases and upgrades with external teams
  • Write and approve technical user stories for software engineers on our internal team; coordinate efforts between different groups to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Collaborate with software engineers to execute improvements to existing processes and tools (and innovate by creating new ones)
  • Ensure that existing media analytics tools, platforms, processes, and dashboards continue to deliver value for our campaigns
  • Facilitate any work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements; translate functional requirements to software engineers
  • Leverage AI and LLMs to get out of your comfort zone – you will build your own prototypes and tools in collaboration with the broader team
You Will Have / Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management
  • Working knowledge of how APIs function, including experience reading documentation, sending requests, and interpreting responses
  • Experience with workflow tracking or project management tools such as (e.g., Airtable)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A familiarity with SQL and working with complex datasets
  • Knowledge of ad platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, The Trade Desk, and similar
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language
Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in relevant subject areas, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in relevant subject area
