Job summary

The California Civil Rights Department (CRD) seeks an Analyst II to independently perform analytical business services tasks in procurement of IT and Non-IT goods and services, in line with SAM and SCM policies.

This permanent, full-time position is hybrid, requiring four days in-office per week across statewide CA offices (Bakersfield, Fresno, Oakland, Riverside). The monthly salary ranges from $6,031.00 to $7,547.00, subject to PLP 2025 reductions until June 2027.

• Independently perform analytical business services-related tasks in procurement of IT and Non-IT goods and services, in accordance with the State Administrative Manual (SAM) and State Contracting Manual (SCM).
• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and memorandums while delivering procurement analysis.

Under the direction of the BSO Procurement Manager, the Analyst II is responsible for independently performing analytical business services-related tasks in a variety of functions, including the procurement of Information Technology (IT) and Non-IT Goods and Services as mandated within the State Administrative Manual (SAM), State Contracting Manual (SCM), and all other policies, guidelines, and memorandums.

This position ishybrid, but is required to work 4 days per week in-office in accordance with Department policy.

In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary ranges shown on this job posting do not reflect the salary reduction.
