Job summary

Toyota West Virginia Manufacturing is seeking a passionate Analyst to support the Training & Development team. The role focuses on promoting 3 Pillar activities—Standardized Work, Ownership Maintenance, and Point Management—at multiple sites. You will analyze Obeya data, coach workteams, and help design training content that drives daily improvement.

Reporting to the Training & Development Sr. Manager, you’ll coordinate with regional groups, maintain reports, and contribute to Hoshin and OKR

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience required for role.
  • Experience with training material development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FMDS and Toyota Production System concepts.
  • Proven problem solving skills and data-driven coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Support weekly and monthly 3 Pillar Obeya’s through data collection and analysis of results
  • Give coaching feedback to worksites on 3 pillar requirements
  • Develop and deliver training content that supports the promotion of 3 Pillar initiatives
  • Coordinate planning and support requests with regional 3 Pillar group and GPC
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reporting for POLS group (FMDS- Floor Management Development System, Cabbage Patch Scoring, etc)
  • Develop strategies that support Hoshin and OKR- Objectives and Key Results activities

Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Training & Development department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide expert support to TMMWV (Toyota West Virginia) worksites for the promotion of 3 Pillar activities- Standardized Work, Ownership Maintenance, and Point Management. Reporting to the Training & Development Sr. Manager, the person in this role will support the POLS (Production Off Line Support) objective to promote human development through the promotion of 3 pillar daily worksite management systems.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support weekly and monthly 3 Pillar Obeya’s through data collection and analysis of results
  • Give coaching feedback to worksites on 3 pillar requirements
  • Develop and deliver training content that supports the promotion of 3 Pillar initiatives
  • Coordinate planning and support requests with regional 3 Pillar group and GPC
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reporting for POLS group (FMDS- Floor Management Development System, Cabbage Patch Scoring, etc)

What you bring
  • B.S. /B.A. degree or 3 years of equivalent experience
  • Certified 3 Pillar assessor or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual Japanese/English – speaking and written fluency
  • Training content development experience
  • FMDS knowledge
  • Problem solving examples
  • Added bonus if you have
  • Understanding of TPS (Toyota Production System)
  • Toyota unit plant experience
  • GPC- Global Production Center Audit experience
