Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is hiring an Undergraduate Circuit and Analog Engineering Intern for the Analog and Power Systems Department in the Electronics Engineering Subdivision. You will work full-time on-site at our El Segundo, CA facility and contribute to breadboard evaluations, circuit simulations, and collaborative research with professors and peers.

Minimum requirements include enrollment in a Bachelor's program (Electrical/Computer Engineering or related), a 3.0 GPA, and willingness to

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and return to degree program full-time afterward.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0. Demonstrated knowledge of circuit simulation and lab component/circuit characterization techniques.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Use of standard lab equipment to perform electrical engineering evaluations at breadboard level.
  • Perform circuit simulations using SABER and SPICE codes.
  • Coordinate progress and technical issues with Engineering Technology Group management and peers.
  • Develop clear reports, presentations, and materials for management and peers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on ongoing research or technical programs with academic partners.
  • Apply standard techniques to carry out prescribed scientific and engineering tasks.
  • Training and mentorship will be provided.
