Job summary

Skyworks seeks an analog/mixed-signal design intern to develop complex ICs for Frequency Control and timing applications. You will design transistor-level blocks, simulate performance, create models, supervise layout, verify operation, and support tape-out activities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, with strong CAD experience and knowledge of PLLs, VCOs, and high-speed analog techniques.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong motivation to contribute to all facets of chip design from conceptualization to release.
• Experience with analog and/or mixed-signal IC circuit design in a CAD environment.

Responsibilities

• Analog/mixed-signal circuit and sub-system design, analysis, and implementation (schematic entry, simulation, layout supervision).
• Development and use of system-level noise models for evaluation of system-level trade-offs.
• Development and use of behavioral models for simulation of analog/mixed-signal circuits and verification of sub-systems.
• Laboratory measurements and validation of ICs.
• Assistance with development of production tests and customer support.
