The role emphasizes hands-on layout supervision, model development, and silicon evaluation with opportunities to contribute to high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit concepts, simulation and testing.
• Experience with CAD tools and transistor-level design is required.
• Good communication skills and ability to mentor junior designers.
• Experience with IO formats such as LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, HCSL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Analog/mixed-signal circuit and sub-system design, analysis, and implementation (schematic, sim, layout supervision).
• Develop and use system-level noise models for evaluation of trade-offs and re-simulation.
• Develop and use behavioral models for simulation and verification of subsystems.
• Laboratory measurements, silicon evaluation, debugging, and production test support.
