Job summary

Skyworks seeks an analog/mixed-signal intern to design and verify complex IC blocks, supervise layout, and assist with tape-out activities. You will work on timing, frequency control, and clock-generation blocks, with emphasis on system-level noise and behavioral modeling.

Responsibilities include laboratory measurements, production test support, and collaboration with customers. Strong CAD skills and MATLAB proficiency are expected as you mentor junior designers.

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with analog/mixed-signal IC design in a CAD environment.
• Strong knowledge of analog/mixed-signal concepts, simulation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Analog/mixed-signal circuit and sub-system design, analysis, and implementation (schematic, simulation, layout supervision).
• Develop and use system-level noise models for evaluation of trade-offs and re-simulation as needed.
• Develop and use behavioral models for simulation of analog/mixed-signal circuits and verify sub-systems.
• Laboratory measurements and validation of ICs.
• Assist with production tests and customer support.
