Job summary

Saige Partners is seeking a Senior High-Speed Mixed-Signal / Analog IC Layout Engineer in San Jose, CA. You will lay out analog and high‑speed transceiver blocks, conduct verification, and collaborate with design engineers to optimize signal and power integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree or higher with 5+ years in analog layout, understands device structures, and is proficient in Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with formal training in custom analog layout.
• BSEE or higher preferred.
• 5 years analog layout experience in deep sub-micron and FinFET processes.
• Experience in floor planning and layout of analog blocks such as amplifiers, drivers, LDO, PLL, filters.
• Solid knowledge in device structures.
• Understand tradeoffs in matching, coupling, parasitic effects, area.
• Understand causes and preventions of ESD and latch-up.
• Proficient in interpreting verification DRC, LVS, ERC, ANT results.
• Working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre required.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

• Design verification including DRC, LVS, ERC and ANT and extraction.
