Job summary

Carowinds Area Manager of Security leads safety operations across the park, overseeing daily security activities and personnel while ensuring compliance with park policies and laws. This role requires proactive leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop security plans, emergency procedures, and loss prevention programs, partnering with local law enforcement and fire services to safeguard guests and associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement Management.
• 1–4 years related experience in law enforcement.
• Must be 21+ years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain NC/SC armed security certifications and SC SLED training.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication with guests, employees and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and park policies.
• Develop and implement security plans, emergency procedures and loss prevention.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency agencies as needed.
• Oversee recruiting, training and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in budgeting.
