Amusement Supervisor - Entertainment Facility

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility opening soon at Pacific View, Ventura!

The Amusement Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in the supervision and management of the Amusement (Arcade) Department.

Education: Must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.

Availability: Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.

Alcohol Handling: All management will handle and serve alcohol – you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explain game operation or rules to customers, and respond to customer complaints of machine glitches through troubleshooting.

Team Management:

• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.

Sales:

• Achieve departmental sales goals.
• Be on the floor to provide personal sales support.

Compliance:

• Conduct till checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.

Operations Management:

• Conduct opening and closing department procedures.
• Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
