Job summary

Raytheon's AMRAAM Production Engineering program seeks a Principal Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team overseeing a subsystem in production. You will guide a cross‑functional group of REAs, providing technical oversight and ensuring timely delivery while driving process improvements across multiple factories, including Tucson RF/EI.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in a STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, and production engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and program management.
Familiarity with hardware and test software development in production environments.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-disciplinary team of 7–10 REAs across mechanical and electrical domains.
Analyze factory throughput and yield data to drive improvements.
Ensure engineering alignment with constraints and changes with program and factory engineers.
Collaborate with Value Stream Managers to support production throughput and yields.
Coordinate with SME, PTE, and ME to align efforts with REA teams.
Communicate with suppliers and travel as needed for reviews.
Maintain budgets and report deviations weekly to PM.
Manage project tracking and weekly reviews with REAs.
Identify and drive improvements to increase throughput and yield across factories.
