Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for Production Support in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on missile integration and test for SM-3 & SM-6, with emphasis on TRD ownership, telemetry analysis, and root-cause resolution in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, plus strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in analysis, test, measurement, or integration of electrical products or systems.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Technical troubleshooting of production hardware and test equipment from system down to CCA and components.
Reviewing and modifying designs and system/sub-system requirements to solve production issues.
Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers).
Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
Analog and digital circuit analysis, modeling electrical signals in simulations.
Preparing technical justifications and presenting to peers, leadership and customers.
On-site production line support; travel to suppliers may be required.
