Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to manage and operate the central refrigeration system at the Sikeston, MO facility. You will support the Mix Room, production floor and utilities, communicating effectively with all plant personnel.

The role requires ammonia refrigeration experience, formal engineering training, and at least three years of related work. Flexibility for varied hours and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training in engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
• Ability to interpret Process & Instrumentation drawings (P&ID), electrical schematics and equipment manuals as necessary to perform assigned duties.
• Ability to become HAZWOPER certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all equipment in the Engineering Department including ammonia engine room, boilers, pumps, air compressors, condensers, electrical systems and distribution centers.
• Troubleshoot PLC and electrical problems and implement program changes.
• Troubleshoot Process Instrumentation equipment.
• Develop and follow SOPs, piping and instrumentation diagrams; perform pre-start safety reviews.
