Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience or training.
• RETA CARO/CIRO/CRST or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration safety procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission ammonia refrigeration systems, including piping and controls.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components; replace faulty parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and document performance records.
• Provide emergency response for system failures or leaks.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory; generate reports.
• Train technicians on safe operation and best practices for ammonia refrigeration.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings.
