Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to repair and maintain ammonia refrigeration units and related equipment. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems, ensuring safety and reliability across our facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of related experience, familiarity with RETA certifications, and a commitment to safety. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a large seafood processing network.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
RETA CARO/CIRO/CRST or equivalent preferred.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures for ammonia refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

Performs installation and commissioning of ammonia refrigeration systems and components.
Conducts inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ammonia refrigeration equipment.
Diagnoses and repairs malfunctioning components and recharges refrigerant as needed.
Ensures safety compliance and maintains records of inspections and performance.
Provides guidance and training on safe operation and best practices.
