Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks an Ammonia Supervisor for the Gulf Coast Ammonia Storage facility in Texas City, TX. You will lead a team of operators, supervise daily operations, and champion safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a chemical/mechanical engineering background, strong leadership, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24/7 operation. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the safe operation of refrigerated storage tank operations.
• Experience with Emergency Management as an Incident Commander is desired.
• Experience with the Management of Change (MOC) process.

Responsibilities

• Supervise regularly scheduled activities & special projects and address difficulties.
• Lead operation supervision of a 10–12 person team of Plant Operators.
• Conduct root cause investigations to resolve unplanned issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and Safety Standards; manage budget and procurement.
• Coordinate with pipeline teams and support Turnaround planning.
