Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Texas City, TX is seeking an Ammonia Supervisor to lead a 10–12 person operation team within the Gulf Coast Ammonia Storage facility.

You will supervise daily plant operations, enforce safety standards, manage maintenance tasks, and drive continuous improvement across the ammonia storage and piping system. The role reports to the Ammonia Superintendent and requires strong engineering fundamentals, incident-command experience, and a focus on safe, reliable

Qualifikationen

• B.S. degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience desired.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across broad range of operational, technical, and commercial areas.
• Experience in the safe operation of refrigerated storage tank operations.
• Experience in ammonia, LNG, or other cryogenic liquid storage operation is desired.
• Experience with Emergency Management as an Incident Commander is desired.
• Experience with MOC (Management of Change) process.
• Self-motivated and well organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Aufgaben

• Supervise regularly scheduled activities & special projects and remedy difficulties.
• Support day-to-day operations, including supervising operators.
• Lead Root Cause Investigations to resolve unplanned issues.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain environmental compliance targets and PM tasks.
• Manage staff, equipment, and contractors for smooth operations.
• Oversee participation in BSP safety program by direct reports.
• Provide project support with HYCO resources and outage planning.
• Ingress to SAP for weekly payroll data processing.
