Reimagine What’s Possible Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an Ammonia Supervisor for the Gulf Coast Ammonia Storage facility in Texas City, TX. Reporting to the Ammonia Superintendent, the Ammonia Supervisor will have specific responsibilities in supporting the Ammonia Plant and will function as part of the local Leadership Team in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Texas City facility. The individual will lead a team of 10-12 Plant Operators in the operation and maintenance of the 3,600 mTon/day Ammonia Plant, 70,000 metric ton Ammonia Storage Tank and associated ammonia pipelines. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop technical proficiency across the production facility while encouraging a strong safety culture, promoting employee engagement and development, and providing leadership that recognizes and adapts to the diverse strengths, experiences, and working styles of the workforce.
