Job summary

CF Industries, a leading clean energy company, seeks an Operator for its ammonia terminal. You will load/unload products, maintain equipment, monitor refrigeration systems and keep accurate records. The role includes on-call duties, training participation, and safety compliance.

Work involves hazardous materials handling, 12-hour rotating shifts, and potential travel between facilities. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures.
• Refrigeration knowledge commensurate with position level.
• HAZMAT certification (post-employment requirement).
• Ability and initiative to exercise independent or team-oriented action.
• Must have basic computer skills and be capable of data entry and information retrieval.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform product loading and unloading functions according to procedures.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, buildings and grounds; perform mechanical maintenance as needed.
• Monitor refrigeration systems and record gauge readings.
• Maintain manuals and records/paperwork accurately.
• Comply with training, environmental, health and safety programs.
• Assist with training other operators and coordinate with emergency response personnel.
• Respond to hazardous material spills and participate in remediation; follow emergency protocols.
• Progress through and maintain Operator Progression Program.
