KeyCorp is seeking an AML Detection Quality Control Manager to lead the quality control program for AML Detection within Financial Crimes Risk Management. You will supervise QC Analysts, ensure reviews comply with internal procedures and regulatory expectations, and drive quality improvements.

The role emphasizes independent control, collaboration with AML Detection leadership, Compliance, Training, and other stakeholders, plus developing reporting, staffing insights, and escalation management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of AML experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Solid knowledge of BSA/AML and risk management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
• Experience with reporting tools and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of AML Detection Quality Control Analysts.
• Manage daily AMLD QC operations to ensure timely, consistent reviews.
• Oversee review quality, scorecards, feedback, and validation of accuracy.
• Identify quality trends, deficiencies, and risks; create action plans.
• Serve as an independent control partner to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and communicate quality reporting, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Lead or support process improvements and changes to strengthen QC.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations related to AMLD QC activities.
