Job summary

NorthWestern Energy seeks an Intern for AMI Mitigation and Deployment to support the Customer Care team and work with the AMI project. You will receive technical training to deploy and mitigate endpoints for electric and gas meters, gather data requests for revenue support, and test updates with field resources.

This internship focuses on supporting project activities, improving processes, and developing documentation while adhering to cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Business, Information Technology (IT), or Computer Science (CS) degree path required.
• Student must have completed sophomore level or higher by start date.
• Must provide GPA in resume upon application.

Responsibilities

• Support AMI project by engaging with stakeholders to identify problems and develop requirements.
• Deploy and mitigate AMI endpoints for electric and gas meters.
• Gather data requests to support revenue requests.
• Test applied updates and issues with field resources.
• Follow cybersecurity policies and maintain process documentation.
