Job summary

Peraton seeks a Systems Administrator to support the SITEC program at MacDill AFB in Florida, ensuring AMHS and related NetOps services remain available 24/7 across enterprise environments.

Required are DoD TS/SCI clearance and 3+ years in system administration with DoD 8140 compliance. The role involves collaboration with cybersecurity, vendors, and DISA PMO to maintain secure messaging and enclave configurations.

Qualifications

• 9+ years with HS Diploma, 7 years AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA degree, 3 years with MS/MA
• Minimum of 3 years as a Systems Administrator or equivalent end-user desktop/mobile support
• DoW TS/SCI clearance is required
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under Work Role Code 451 – System Administrator - Intermediate level or higher

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain AMHS operating system software, patches, and upgrades across messaging servers and supporting infrastructure.
• Analyze and resolve AMHS‑specific hardware, software, and messaging‑flow issues.
• Monitor and optimize AMHS server performance and system health indicators.
• Perform AMHS backups, recovery operations, and continuity procedures.
• Coordinate with software engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and DISA PMO for changes to configurations and routing logic.
