Goodwill Industries of The Southern Rivers in Columbus, GA seeks AmeriCorps members for a behind-the-scenes capacity-building role. You will research workforce needs, organize learning assets, and develop evaluation and sustainability systems.
You will not provide routine instruction, but you will create standardized curriculum tools, set up a centralized SharePoint library, and map scheduling workflows across in-person and virtual services.

Service Description:
AmeriCorps members will help increase community awareness of the programs that GoodwillSR offers and support Mission services activities, Monday through Friday, 4o hours a week. The members will implement several outreach service methods, including phone calls, emails, text messaging, social media campaigns, geo-marketing/geo-tracking, and special events. Outreach includes, but is not limited to, re-engaging clients who have not visited the center for 31 days or more; inviting clients to job fairs and special events; and informing clients about services such as classes, free tax prep, Veterans Services, and certification training.
