Job summary

GO Tutor Corps, in partnership with AmeriCorps, is seeking GO Fellows for the 2026-2027 Academic Year to provide targeted Math and ELA instruction in middle and high schools. Fellows embed in school communities, work in small groups, and help students build confidence and achievement.

The role requires in-person commitment to one of the school schedules, strong relationship-building, and a passion for educational equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED or current enrollment in an accredited college or university program
• Citizenship or legal Permanent Residency status in the United States (AmeriCorps requirement)
• Served no more than three previous AmeriCorps service terms (AmeriCorps requirement)
• At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Academic Tutoring - GO Fellows work with small groups of students to increase achievement in Math and English Language Arts (ELA).
• Mentoring & Enrichment - GO Fellows serve as mentors to their students, supporting their social and emotional development by building authentic and healthy relationships and setting goals for the future.
