Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources – Americas to lead HR strategy across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and other regional operations. This executive will align global standards with regional needs, drive governance, compliance, and workforce programs for 15,000–20,000 employees in a highly matrixed multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in complex manufacturing, industrial, or multinational settings.
• Experience leading HR across multiple countries in the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil).
• Experience in matrixed organizations, shared services, and Center of Excellence operating models.
• Experience supporting 15,000+ employees and driving governance, labor relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional HR leadership and governance for the Americas.
• Translate global HR strategy into executable regional plans and operating rhythms.
• Oversee HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance across the region.
• Partner with business leaders and country HR teams to execute workforce strategies.
• Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Oversee HR systems, data, dashboards, and analytics.
• Collaborate with Global HR and Centers of Excellence on transformation initiatives.
