Job summary

AUMOVIO invites an experienced Head of Customs and Foreign Trade Americas & Strategy Manager to lead compliance, governance, and strategic alignment of customs for the Americas. You will drive complex import/export programs, manage broker relationships, and oversee risk while partnering with global teams to sustain value chains.

The role requires a deep knowledge of North American trade laws, HTS rules, and strong leadership across cross‑functional teams. Legal work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, international business, logistics, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in global trade compliance and import/export processes.
• Strong knowledge of NAFTA/USMCA, HTS rules, export controls, and current U.S. tariff policies.
• Cross‑functional leadership, data analytics, and clear government liaison skills.
• Experience coaching and managing a team with resource planning and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure import/export reporting, customs entries, and claims are accurate and timely
• Oversee brokers, providers, and audit performance with SLAs and contracts
• Manage HTS classification, valuation, and origin determinations; leverage FTAs
• Support preferential programs (e.g., IMMEX, CTPAT) and trade security
• Lead audits and risk mitigation; coordinate internal controls and risk systems
• Drive strategic customs projects for the region and global team; support value‑chain
• Lead, coach, and develop the customs team; plan resources and objectives
