Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a US/CA Customs Compliance Leader to guide the region’s compliance strategy, enforce enterprise standards, and support importer/exporter activities. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment and operational excellence across the region.

The role requires a strong background in customs laws, people leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organization. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 9+ years in customs compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with US and CA region customs and trade laws.
• Operationalize enterprise standard requirements.
• Develop and maintain local standard work processes.
• Drive compliance program disciplines and timelines.
• Address government inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate regulatory change communications and training.
• Oversee region metrics and service providers.
