Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Product Manager for Power Switching & Distribution (PSD) in the Americas. The role leads commercial success across the PSD portfolio, aligning regional execution with the Global BU strategy and reporting to the Director, Power Distribution – Americas.

Based on-site in Delaware, Ohio, the candidate will partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Services to drive strategy, pricing, and roadmap execution while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (Electrical Eng preferred; MBA a plus).
• 7+ years of experience in business management, product management, commercial leadership, technical sales, or related field.
• Experience with electrical power distribution products such as Switchgear, Switchboards, Busway, PDU, STS, RPP, ATS, MTS, or similar infra solutions.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, profitability, forecasting, and business performance management.
• Experience working with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise data center, industrial, or critical infrastructure customers is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional business strategy for the PSD portfolio, driving revenue growth, profitability, market share, and long-term performance across the Americas.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies, commercial approvals, margin improvement initiatives, and strategic opportunities with Sales, Finance, and the Global BU.
• Own the regional portfolio strategy by identifying market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies; influence the global roadmap.
• Drive forecasting, demand planning, business reviews, and performance management aligning demand, capacity, and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and the Global BU to launch new offerings and improve operations.
• Support annual operating plans and long-range strategic planning while leading initiatives to improve business performance and customer experience.
