Job summary

PayPal seeks a Director of Business Operations for the Americas, a high-impact leadership role guiding operating models and ensuring scalable execution across commercial and operational teams. You’ll partner with the SVP of Americas to translate strategy into operational delivery and to drive performance and growth.

You will oversee budgeting, headcount planning, and resource allocation while leading cross-functional initiatives with Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Revenue Operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years in senior business operations or general management roles, ideally within fast-growing tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish overall business or technical strategy for the business operations of aligned organization.
• Influence decisions as an advisor or counsel to business leadership.
• Drive strategic objectives and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
• Provide oversight and support for planning and management of financial, budget, and headcount targets.
• Act as a liaison between business leadership, staff, and other key partners.
• Optimize workflows and drive process improvements to enhance organizational performance.
• Drive and monitor OKRs to address gaps in business and operations.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
