Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a seasoned professional to manage airline distribution in the Americas, driving strategy and partner relationships with key airlines. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize content at the point of sale and develop commercial models for a dynamic marketplace.

The role requires 3+ years in airline/travel distribution, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to navigate a complex, multi-time-zone environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Airline and/or travel distribution space, with knowledge of NDC.
• Strong product and technology knowledge to influence and lead product discussions.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
• Translate complex technical and business issues into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Experience with ‘future proofing’ within organizations.
• Strong negotiation skills to ensure optimum value for the organization.
• Strong analytical skills; assess financial impact of negotiations.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver within deadlines.
• Cross-cultural awareness and ability to thrive in diverse, multi-time zone environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy in North America and Latam.
• Partner with Airlines to ensure collaboration on distribution matters and align on goals.
• Address content-related issues and apply solutions to overcome challenges.
• Collaborate with Product & Technology, Marketplace, and Commercial teams to align on goals and progress.
• Develop and implement new strategies to evolve and expand content offered to customers using new capabilities.
• Develop commercial models to meet evolving marketplace needs.
