Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking an experienced professional to manage the airline distribution portfolio in the Americas, driving the distribution strategy and securing best-in-class content for customers. You will partner with airlines and internal teams to optimize content at the point of sale and develop value-driven commercial models.

The role requires 3+ years in airline distribution, strong product/tech knowledge, and exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills to navigate a complex

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the Airline and/or travel distribution space, with knowledge of NDC
• Strong understanding of product and technology to influence discussions
• Proven ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners
• Ability to translate complex technical and business issues into clear insights for leadership
• Experience in creating future-proof strategies within organizations
• Strong negotiation skills to secure optimum value for the organization
• Excellent analytical skills to assess financial impacts of negotiations
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, multi-time zone environment

Responsibilities

• Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy in North America and Latam.
• Partner with Airlines to ensure collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and expanding the offering to joint customers.
• Work through content-related issues and apply solutions to overcome challenges.
• Work closely with Product & Technology, Marketplace, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and progress on key goals.
• Develop and implement new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customers using new capabilities and technology as required.
• Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace
