SCA Health in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate outpatient surgeries and related procedures. You will collect demographics and insurance details, verify benefits with payers, and liaise with nursing and business office staff to keep the daily schedule running smoothly.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year scheduling experience in ambulatory settings.
• Punctuality, attendance and ability to meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Schedule all outpatient surgeries and procedures as requested.
• Obtain and enter patient demographics and insurance into billing system.
• Contact payers to verify benefits and obtain authorization.
• Coordinate with Nursing Director to ensure equipment and staff availability.
• Prepare and distribute daily surgery schedule to nurses and office staff.
• Capture complete clinical, demographic and insurance information for scheduled patients.
• Communicate potential scheduling conflicts to Nursing Director.
• Notify Business Office Manager of patient issues promptly.
• Maintain positive communication with medical staff and offices.
• Track cancellations and manage block time releases.
• Prepare daily bank deposits for monies received.
• Cross-train to cover front desk, medical records and collections duties.
• Perform other clerical duties as directed by the Business Office Manager.
