Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a licensed nurse to provide patient care within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will support day-to-day operations, direct patient flow, and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families and other departments.

The role requires a minimum of two years in an OR within a hospital or ASC, and EMR experience. Work hours are 0900–1400, five hours a day, 25 hours per week, in a day-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or ASC Operating Room.
• Must have experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provides care within nursing standards of practice and ASC policies.
• Directs patient flow and communicates with physicians, patients, families and staff.
• Adheres to Joint Commission and regulatory requirements as applicable.
